About the event

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Art Lawyers Association's new Roundtable Discussions. This series will consist of small, closed-door discussions on topical issues in the art law world, such as auction warranties, art theft, irrevocable bids and the law of agency. We invite those with interest in each of the specific issues to sign up quickly, as places are strictly limited. Priority will be given to Full Members.

The first Roundtable Discussion will be on the topic of the 'generally accepted view of scholars' clause in auction warranties. It will take place on 20 February at 11am to 12pm, and is kindly hosted by Phillips Auction House, 30 Berkeley Square, London, W1J 6EX. RSVP as soon as possible as  places are limited to 15. We would like these roundtables to be lively and engaging, so we ask that all those who sign up have a specific interest in the topic and are willing to actively participate in the discussion.
