The YALA Launch Drinks

The Art Lawyers Association is delighted to share that the inaugural event for the Young Art Lawyers Association (YALA) was a resounding success! Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special occasion – we are overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and positive feedback received from attendees and couldn’t be more excited about the future of YALA.

The event, held on Wednesday 22 January at The Photographers’ Gallery in London, brought together Associate, Student, and Academic members of the ALA (the now founding members of YALA!) for an evening of networking, inspiration, and celebration. Guests enjoyed cocktails and canapés, speeches from Amanda Gray, Co-Chair of the ALA and Emily Heath, Chair of YALA, as well as a private viewing of “Letizia Battaglia: Life, Love and Death in Sicily” and “Deborah Turbeville: Photocollage.” An introduction to the exhibitions from Clare Grafik, Head of Exhibitions at The Photographers’ Gallery, made the evening truly memorable.

We look forward to seeing you at our next event: YALA’s first book club meeting! We’ll be diving into The Parthenon Marbles by Alexander Herman, and even better—the author will be joining us. Stay tuned for more updates on our website in the coming weeks!
