Does Full Membership include any exclusive benefits?Full members are invited to all our virtual and in-person events, including our Annual General Meeting and the Annual Conference and Dinner; You will be able to post on our blog and will be eligible to attend and contribute to our panels, discussions, social and educational events.

How can I join the ALA?To join, simply fill out the membership application form on our website and choose the membership type that best suits you. You will then be guided through the payment process.

Can I upgrade my membership?Yes, you can upgrade your membership at any time. Please contact our Membership Officer for assistance with the upgrade process.

How do I renew my membership?Membership renewals are automatic and occur at the end of your membership's calendar year.

What is YALA, and who can join?The Young Art Lawyers Association (YALA) is a branch of the Art Lawyers Association (ALA) that focuses on supporting individuals interested in or starting their careers in art law. If you are an Associate, Student, or Academic member of the ALA, you are already part of YALA and welcome to join our activities.

Do I need a separate membership to participate in YALA if I am already an ALA member?No, you do not need a separate membership. Your active ALA membership automatically includes access to YALA events, resources, and community.
